My youngest son came out from Kansas to visit. It was his 21st birthday and one of the gifts, a 2 hour tour and education about wolves and then the extra at Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center
The extra was well worth it. We got to go into a wolf enclosure with 3 male wolves.
Raksha & Isha (Arctic wolf brothers) and Keyni (British Columbian/Tundra Wolf) are the wolves we had the pleasure meeting and interacting with. I think it was Keyni, the names lost me when we entered the enclosure.
They are truly stunning creatures. Very cautious, curious and look right into you. The eyes are something to witness nose-to-nose. I'll post a couple more pics tomorrow.
This was a brief experience and one I will do again any time.
